So, I'm on the verge of buying a 90g tank off of craigslist, that should come with all the proper components and plumbing (fingers crossed). This will be my first tank, so I can definitely use any and all advice possible! At the moment I feel comfortable with tank setup - but now to determine what fun creatures to keep in there!!

Currently I am thinking of building a reef tank - but would be open to fowlr as well.

Regarding stock - what do people suggest, and what order of introduction would be best? Also, I love invertebrates, and was hoping to have many sea slugs (the kinds that will not starve - lettuce leaf and sea hares) - will I be able to see them in a 90g tank, or should I downgrade the size?

Concept 1 - Reef Safe, Community Oriented:
Inverts:
- Sea Hares
- Lettuce Leaf Sea Slugs
- A nice looking Maxima (or other type) Clam
- Starfish (type to be determined)
- A conch (type tbd)
- Bumble Bee snails
- Nassarius snails
- Decorator Crab (are they reef safe?)
- Emerald Crab
- Spotted Porcelain Crab
- Tuxedo Urchin
- Pencil Urchin
- Peppermint Shrimp
- Scarlet Shrimp
- Coral Banded Shrimp (will all of these shrimp fight with each other?)
- Flame Scallop (eventually... like a year out at least)
- Brittle or Serpent Stars

Fish:
- Golden Semilarvatus Butterflyfish
- Heniochus Black and White Butterflyfish
- Melanurus Fairy Wrasse
- Some type of tank-bred Clownfish
- Orchid Dottyback
- Tank raised spotted Mandarin
- Scooter Blenny
- Kole Yellow Eye Tang
- Would love an angler, but I hear they are more difficult to keep.

Concept 2 - FOWLR - Aggressive Tank
Inverts:
- Suggestions for what won't be eaten here? What kind of CUC should be used for an aggressive FOWLR?

Fish:
- Harlequin Tusk
- Lyretail Wrasse
- Arothon Blue/White Puffer or a Fiji Blue Dot Toby Puffer or other type of puffer
- Huma Picasso Trigger or a Rectangle Trigger or a Bursa Trigger
- Hawaiian Potter's Angelfish
- Saddleback Butterflyfish
- Harlequin Bass
- Snowflake Eel
- Some type of Anemone (I realize they require established tanks - would wait a year before adding)

So those are the 2 tanks I am trying to decide on - or alternatively going with an almost purely invert nano-tank....

Suggestions / Recommendations appreciated! Thanks!
