Hi all, I just signed to this site today. I recently just got back into reef keeping from a long absence in the hobby. I started a 92g corner tank. Figured I would share the build with everyone.

I added 75lbs of rock. It was spilt about half and half with base and live rock(cheaper). This was the first attempt at the scape before I had sand.

I ran tank for about 4 weeks before levels reached 0. Then I got a diatom bloom.

The tank has been running a little under 2 months now and there have been some additions along the way. I have added a clean up crew of 50 snails and 20 hermits, a watchmen goby and tiger pistol, some mushrooms, and a couple fragged pieces from a friends tank.

So here is a pic of the tank today. I'm still battling a small cyano issue and a little green hair algae. Current occupants are a yellow watchmen gobie, Lubbock wrasse, queen conch, some zoa's and mushrooms (fragged from a friends tank).

Tank levels:
PH-8.1
Ammonia-0
Nitrates-0
Nitrites-0
Calcium- 480
Alk- 9

I haven't tested for Mag or phosphates yet. Need money for test kits. This hobby is expensive. Lol.

Tank has been running about 2 months now. Do u guys think it's to early for SPS pieces? Was thinking about a red monti, and green acro purchase this weekend.
