96W Quad- Coralife for Eclipse 12 Gallon

Anybody think this light will be good for my tank? I want to keep polyps, shrooms, softies, LPS, and clams (lower light ones).

I think it's way overkill. I think you would do fine with a couple of 28W PC's for what you want to do.

Im unfimular with the 12 gal eclipse systems. Will that fit over that size tank? If its 17" long then how wide is it?

A 55W 50/50 bulb would work if it was not to long.

I believe it is 8 inches wide. The LFS here tried to sell one to me as a 96W PC. Until I saw it...
