Aquarium Advice Freak
Ok, so here is my new project! Some of you may remember my earlier posts. I was given a 76g Oceanic Half Round Aquarium for free. I am excited now to build my first reef tank. However the project inside the project is that I am trying to build it for free! I figure that if I can get such a nice tank for nothing, why not try to get the rest for the same.
So far thanks to some great people I've met through Craigslist, I have started collecting parts. I have gotten a protein skimmer, a hang on Refugium, a pump that says 295 usgph and has a little tube coming off of it, a penguin power head, an overflow (I think), and a couple of rubber gaskets that I have no idea about.
I'm posting pics of everything hoping someone can tell me more about what I have, whether they'll work, and specifically what else I need. One other small note, the Refugium measures 25x12x4.5. I know that it is designed as a hang on but I am curious if I can still use it and mount it underneath inside the cabinet.
