Would love to start a saltwater aquarium. What all do I need? I have read many pages on the web, but would love for someone to tell me what they think. I would like to start out slow. Maybe just a few fish, live rock, and sand. Would I need a smaller tank to watch the fish before I put them to to my tank? I was thinking about a 65-90 gal. Tank

Starting out slow i s a great idea! I dont think you need a smaller tank to put the fish in first. I would recommend some snails and shrimp to make sure there isnt to much algea. I would also only put one fish in at first and make sure its a stronger fish so you can make sure there is not anything bad in the tank and then after a week or so if that fish is alright put more and more fish in slowly till you have the amount of fish you want.
I hope this helps you!

I have a 90 gal... big enough to start with, yet easy to manage. I want a 125 gal now...lol

It also depends on what fish you want as to what size tank to go with.

what fish do you want and how many. The bigger the fish the bigger the tank.
