So this is what i've always done with my fresh water fish. I place bag in tank to set temperature usually 30-45mins.. and had small amounts of my water towards the end into the bag to get them used to my water... question i have is what is the drip process, everyone talks about.

You can do the same for SW. What people usually do is get a length of airline tubing, tie it in a basic knot so you can control flow. I believe it's about 2-3 drops/sec is what you'll be aiming for.

Do it for the same amount of time as you're doing, that seems fine

The way most do drip acclimation is by first putting the fish and water in a separate container. Then do what iDream said and use airline tubing to start a syphon and control the flow with a simple knot. After an hour or so, the fish will be acclimated to your temperature and water chemistry.
