Hello Everybody!

I currently have a FOWLR 36 Bowfront and want to make it into a mixed reef. I read that you news actinic lighting to have a reef but I already have reef LED's and needed to know if I still needed to get actinic lighting for my aquarium before I get corals?

Thank You!

IMO if it's a reef capable led system then it should have the blues built into it.

It does but I did not know if the blue lights replaced the actinic lighting.

Just wondering what's your current stocking? I'm in the middle of cycling my 36

Start with softies. If softies won't grow then nothing will. Plus they are the most low maintenance.

Most mushrooms can handle all types of begginer mistakes. Zoas tend to be pretty easy and also colts are fairly easy. I'm not sure about the colts tho due to the fact that I just got my first one yesterday and haven't had a chance to have experience with it yet. Mushrooms are def the easiest.
