A buddy called me the other day, he was cleaning out a warehouse and he found all these crates with this cool coral skeletons that was wrapped in newspapers from the 70s that came from Australia. Do you think it's safe to add to a tank? They're cool looking...

I have heard that adding dead coral skeletons aids in buffering pH. Also, isn't crushed coral gravel just ground up coral skeletons?

If you bleach the coral make sure you dechlorinate the heck out of it after you do a rinse.

Yeah, after bleaching, rinse VERY well and then put in bucket of RO water with Prime in it and let it sit for 24hours. The Prime should counteract the chlorine in The bleach.
