Adding Rock Questions

I have a bunch of reef rubble coming and it's pretty much just dry inert stuff (not live and mostly bleached). I'm going to convert my refugium from sand/chaetomorpha to rock only. I'll add the remaining rock to the DT. Do I need to cure the rock separately or just let it run its course in the tank?

if the tank currently has fish in it, then yes, cure it seperately, but if there is nothing in the tank, then you can just add it to the refugium.

If it is truely bleached dry rock you can just rinse it with RO and add it to the tank. there will be nothing on the rock to contribute to an amonia source.

Still be careful with dry rock like that. There could be very dry dead stuff you can't see on it that ignites the ammonia spike when its wet and starts decaying again. Just put it in some water and test for ammonia IMO. If nonne, still scrub it good and add it.
