adding the shrimp

how long do i have to wait before i put the shrimp in my tank? mine has been running for about 2 weeks.

I would wait a month or two to be safe. Shrimp are very sensitive to change and new tanks have alot of ups and downs in the beginning.

I think better safe than sorry...

LOL, probably the cycle . If that's the case then you should have put the raw shrimp in shortly after setting it up to innitiate the ammonia.
