I have a Filstar Xp3 canister filter. Every 3 or 4 minutes it blows millions of tiny bubbles through the wand. I checked all the lines and hose clamps. Everything seems secure. I'm not sure exactly what it is but it messes up the nice scenary and clear water. Any ideas?

I had the same problem when putting my fluval on my 55g. How long has it been running? Mine settled down after a day or so. Are there any ph's or air generating sources near the intake? That can cause air bubbles too.

It's near one of the circulation fans and has been running for a week.

If it were me I'd turn off the fan its near and see if it improves. Like a day or so should do it. easier than moving stuff around.

I have this issue in my 125g with a powerhead near my fx5 intake. If I leave the airstones and powerhead on I get air coming out the output and it blocks my view of the fishies. lol

Thanks for the advice! I moved my intake pipe behind my powerhead and no more problems!
