Can someone tell me what my tank might be going through. Is it new tank syndrome? It looks like a purple, red hair type algae, long feathery strands. Here is some info about my sytem.
-220g with 72 gallon sump, skimmer in sump.
-Ammonia-0
-Nitrite-0
-Nitrate-0
-Phophates-0, My phosphates might be getting sucked up by the algae faster than it can be detected.
Any feedback would be appreciated. Here are some pictures.
I also use RO/Di water in my system.
