Algae problem

Hey guys needing some advice. Currently have a 6 month old reef tank and having some algae problems. My lighting period is from 930am to 930am with the sunrise to sun set with the AI vega. I can't seem to get rid of the algae on my sand bed. It's driving me crazy! I'm barely feeding if at all. Should I have a lights out period? Any help would be great! Thanks guys.

Need to know your phosphate level. What's your water source? Fish food?
