Algey ...... bad thing

I got some algey grown in my tank now im sure I know the answer BUT does it have to go or is it ok cuz I kinda like the look

O I guess I should tell you about the tank 30 gallaon 22lbs of lr 2 clowns 2 blue green cromis hand full of crabs and snails and some poylops tanks been going for 5 6 months now

+1. You also definitely have some PO4 and Nitrate issues.

No im not using an r/o system I use a chemical called prime I do water chamge bout once a week of 5 gallons

The water you condition is tap though?
Even prime won't keep nutrients from entering the tank. IMO it's more a freshwater thing..

Yep, if you can't do that distilled is ok, but you will need to do wc's with one of the 2 until you get your params in check
