What about freshwater? Is it the same?

Either way, I will tackle that obstacle when I get to it. I am quite stubborn so if there is a way to have a SW tank in Hawaii I will find out and make it happen. For a beginner set-up I can see using a FOWLR since the tank has to cycle and everything anyway, is there an all in one that is a good choice or is it pretty much that they are a waste of time. It seems like to me that they would be wastes of time honestly because they are trying to condense the filtration process to such a small area.
