Ok so I have finally got my nitrates down from over 180 to in between 10 and 20, the PH is 8.2, the ammonia is 0, the nitrite is 0, and the phosphates are 0. I have ripped internal overflow out and now I am just wondering if it is time for fish?! What kind of fish should I start with since I want to eventually have a reef/fish tank. And also does anyone know if there is an overflow out there that will work on my tank?? the water level has to be about 4-5 inches below the top of the tank due to the two holes that are drilled in the tank.
