It will depend on the care given to your tank. Frequent PWC`s will help. I sell some to my LFS every three months. Those are very hardy mushrooms.

Yes they are!! I have tons of them too! After I moved my tank and rearranged the rockwork I put a large rock that had a few on it on the bottom and kinda shaded a little bit and they have gone nuts. I think I'm going to start selling some as I have several rocks that I have put single polyps on and they have taken off!!!
