You could try liveaquaria.com. They have a good many species with some decent info on them.

Are you looking to ID something specifically?

I love my book that has like 500 marine fish in it. I have not found that I like any one website. Its hard for me to id a fish when I am looking at him in the tank, then have to turn to look at the computer. With a book I can just glance down.

I find nothing beats a good book for IDing fish and coral species. I have the following and find it to be an excellent resource.
