Hi guys!!! I was wondering if anyone out there has used eaither of these? If so what do you think about them for lowering phosphates and/or nitrates? Thanks!!! 8)

Have not used either but just recently tried Seachem Hypersorb (good for fresh and salt water) on my sons gold fish tank (wasn't going to experiment on mine haha) his nitrates would always run abour 20ppm now the don't go above 5ppm. I'd say the stuff works for nitrates. Seachem promotes it as a synthetic carbon and it is easily regenerated with household bleach. that's what I know hope it helps.
