I know the Bala shark is for Freshwater(i know its not a real shark), but is there something simmilar that is kept in saltwater tanks?

:thanks:

Epaullete shark.
Real shark needs large tank. Easiest I can think of
Many sharks are suitable to captivity provided there cared for right.
Do your research. Don't be suprised that they ll need 500 gallon min or 1500 gallon min depending on species.

I've seen a privately owned 2400 gallon shark tank. Had a reef shark at 3.5 ft was beautiful can be done but it's not something to take lightly.
If you like predators tho I'd recommend a volitans lionfish. Or maybe a snowflake eel.
Just do your research.

I am just assuming it was to do with the predatory nature. If that is so. I personally wouldn't recommend a pred for your first sw due to feeding difficulties
