attack of the diatoms

Soo my hermit crabs are still all in the same spot and are stillalive (they have not moved in almost 2 weeks) and I did a pwc on Friday. And not I have a ton of diatoms all over my sand like its almost outta control. My water is good and I'm adding microbelift (a non chemical bacteria) every week to help my beni baccteria. Is that what's causing this diatom outbreake? Any ideas? Oh I have a anenomie and he's been doing great

it will eventurally go away once all the substate becomes live, just give it time, do regular PWC and watch the magic of saltwater take form.
