Barnacles

Hey everyone. I bought a top crown snail today that has barnacles on it's shell. I'm curious if that was a poor decision or not, and didn't think about the possibility of having them spread. Should I be concerned and if so, should I glue them shut like vermitid snails?

they aren't going to hurt anything. i would leave them be.
