base rock

Would this be a good base rock piece? I will eventually add live rock to make it longer, i have a 100g so how much base rock and live rock will be needed?

I would see if the LFS can order you some Feller Stone Antique Coral, it should only be 2/3 that price and not so bright white.

You can get 50lbs of base rock from reefcleaners with free shipping for $85. I bought one batch already and its beautiful rock. They also take special requests on sizes too,

I plan on getting another 100lbs or so from them very soon

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.
