Beginning

I know you guys prolly get a lot of this but...
I think i'm going to start a 20 gallon saltwater tank thats planted. I've had tanks of that size before but never saltwater and nothing planted. I need a couple good articles to get me going in that direction.

I would say, go for a bigger tank if you can. It easier to maintain water quality that way. As for planted, do you mean lots of macro algea or planted with corals? If corals most need a lot of light and an established tank, as for the macro algea the too need light but probably not as strict.

Euro-reef 5-2 skimmer, 29 gallon sump
3x penguin 1140 ph
2x65 10,000K and 2x65 03 Acintic
40lbs cc/30lbs argonite sand mixture
80lbs keys rock (www.liverocks.com awesome stuff)
25lbs fiji/tonga lr
10lbs lace base rock (now hapily live with lots of coraline growth)
