Best way to keep LR live while setup of main tank?

Ok I bought 20lbs of Fiji rock today at the LFS. What the best way to keep this rock while I get the tank setup? Right now I have mixed SW and put all the rock in it with a heater and maxijet 1200 in the bucket. Is this the best way? Will it kill the hitchhikers that might be hanging on for dear life? Im hoping to get my tank back tomorrow from the glass people so I should be able to get it setup and ready.

if the LFS is close and you do not have a lot of dieoff you should be fine. Worst case get a tote and use the same setup you have to increase the water volume.

I used the same setup, heater + ph + fresh saltwater and all was good!
