hello i have had my live rock in for 3 days now in a new tank setup, today i added 3 coctail shrimp and have 2 penguin 330s and a sump running with heat ect ect .

my nitrates are at 0.00 but my ammonia is @ 4 very high.

when should i put my biowheels in ? ?

put them in now.

Did you get advice to not add the biowheels for a period of time? The biowheels are excellent for the living bactera that will consume the ammonia. This will give them a place to populate and to start to grow and mulitply.

How big is your tank? I think you might have added a few to many shrimp.
