I've never ran them but have considered trying them out. My understanding is that they slowly dissolve and you just add more. I may be wrong however.

A picture of what your calling bio pellets would help because I can think of 4 different things that people call bio pellets

do you mean the bio pellets you put into a reactor? the little white ball thingys?
