I got a 55g for free, but the problem is that the bottom trim fell off and is cracked from the drive. Is there somewhere that sells the trim or could i just re silicone it back on. How important is the bottom plastic trim?

Thanks

The trim is very important for the structural integrity of the tank. If it isn't designed with out one up front it is required. I think there are places online that you can buy new trim. As long as you properly reattach new trim the tank should be fine.
