Brand new newbie needs advice already re coral!

I've just got a tank today and although it had been running in the shop for weeks we are adding the fish and coral gradually as it has been moved about a bit and we have bought extra coral and fish. One of the corals we bought was a 'stinging coral' as we were told which can be put on the sand by burying the bottom. The guy parcelled up some of our corals and I thought he was leaving that one till next week but I have one now at home which I'm sure looks like it! Would someone be able to advise me if the coral in this pic goes on the rock or whether it is the stinging coral for the sand?!
I'm really grateful for advice!
Many many thanks

From the pic, it looks like it could maybe be an elegance coral? If so they are pretty aggressive.....
It's always about that time.....
