brand new tank!

So I have a Niger trigger fish and one damsel in a 55 gal. Tank now. I am down sizing to a 30 gallon for my new apartment. I have the tank filled, and am adding salt tomorrow i used tap water, so i added the "stress coat " to remove the chlorine from the water. I'm just wondering how long I.should wait to start testing my water ?

It does not however tell me where the levels should be can someone tell me what my levels need to be before moving my fish
