Bryopsis Explosion!!!!

Tank is about 4 months old and has been through diatoms then cyano, now bryopsis. I think there is some hair algae mixed in, but it definitely is bryopsis mostly.

PO4 is zero
Water is RO/DI
Salinity 35ppt
Ammonia, Nitrites are zero
Nitrates are about 5 in between bi-weekly water changes

I've been removing it by hand, but it grows back in a matter of days. I've cut feeding down to once per day and lights to about 6 hours.

Any suggestions? The lawnmover Blenny isn't touching the stuff.

I've heard that keeping a high ph (8.6) via kalk dripping can help kill off Bryopsis. Also a Lettuce Nudibranch may help. Good Luck!

High pH is more intended for dinoflagellate (snot) algae and won't do anything to bryopsis. In fact not much will. The only real thing you can do is maually remove it as often as possible and do everything you can to limit nutrient. It's one of the hardest algae to eliminate. Many often never do and simpley achieve a quasy balance keeping it at bay.
