So I think I got it all done. Gonna let it sit overnight so glue can dry and evaporate the fumes

Are your intake and return in the same section? Or, is the intake going to the skimmer and the skimmer is dumping in the return section? If the intake and return are in the same section, that wont make the flow go through the whole sump.

No skimmer feeds from the intake (left) and it's return dumps into the the sump return (right).
