After talking about it several times I am finally buying a sw mixing tank. The main problem I had was trying to figure out where I want to put it. I guess I am going to put it in the garage and throw a mag pump in it to keep it stirred well.
I found this tank local for $400 it is 325 gallons 38x38x68

I found this style tank in Texas shipped to my door for $400 it is 300 gallons. 36 round x 78 tall

I like the later better due to the small footprint. Does anyone know of anything better or problems with this? Does anyone know where to get it cheaper? TIA

I'd go with the second.. Like you said.. more of a space saver then the first..

As long as there is something mixing the water so the salt doesnt stay in one place I dont see any problems.

What about a couple food-grade 100-gal barrels? Not sure where you buy those but since it's not supposed to be pretty.

Check your local farm supply store; if they have those in NC. They alwas have them sitting out at the stores around here.

Good luck.

Well I just ordered the vertical tank. It is coming freight so it will probably take a week to get here.

8O 2600 lbs. I hope I never have to move it. I have a big safe that I thought about putting in on to save space but it would be to high to access easily. If I ever have to move it I guess I will just have to empty it.
