Those won't work for you. You need a sump so you can put your protein skimmer in it.

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.

So if I do a sump that's all I need for filtration? And what size sump am I looking for?

Yes, that and a pound to a pound and a half per gallon of live rock(yes, the ocean rock is a filter). You are looking for the largest sump you can fit inside of your stand, or wherever you decide to put it.

Mr X how does this look?

It holds somewhere between 15 and 20 gallons, adequate for a 100 gallon tank...I'm not sure on the brand...it's made out of acrylic...comes with bioballs $50 needs a good cleaning

Thats a wet dry unit, you dont want one of them for a reef tank.

Anything with bioballs is not what youre looking for. Keep in mind you have to fit a skimmer which averages about 10 X 8 inches and a return pump which will be at least 4 inches.

If you see one that looks like a tank with compartments then you've found what you need.
