Calcium Reactors

So, Now that it seems to me that I have everything a man could want for his SW tank...I started reading up on calcium reactors. This is the article I liked the best. How do calcium reactors work?

My question is, how many of you guys run these reactors and should I think about adding one as my next piece of equipment?

It all depends on what corals you have and how fast your cal level drops. The reactors are a bit on the pricey side. Another alternative is Kalkwasser drip.

or 2 part dosing. get some bulk powder from BRS and a dosing pump if necessary. Odds are you can keep a healthy reef with just weekly water changes though, as long as it's moderately stocked.
