Hi, can anyone check the photos and tell me if the red layer on the rocks and sand is a good sign, or something is wrong? Thanks!

That is part of the process after cycling a new tank. You can blow it off with a turkey baster or something and let the filter catch it. Eventually this will go away as long you are keeping your water parameters good.

Sure, will keep an eye on the water parameters and thank you all for your help!
