Can filter. Need purchase advice ASAP

I have a Marineland 37 gallon SW tank. A guy on craigslist is selling a Fluval 305 for $50. He said he had it for 2 months before his turtle died. Should I get it?

Pending that its in good working condition, yes get it, the 305 should be a good filter for your setup

I use the fluval 305 on my 55g and had no issues with it. I paid $119 new

i have a 305 on my 20g reef, i love it. easy to clean and disconnect.

get searchem matrix filter media, the 2L bottle.

i clean mine every 2 weeks, do NOT skimp out on cleaning it! it takes about 1.5g of water so i do it when i do a PWC.

no need to buy new foam, hot water cleans mine like new each time.
