can i have a pink tailed trigger fish

Hello I have a 55 gallon aquarium with lid and light I currently have a cannister filter that is for a 40 gallon tank so I know I need another filter that is for maybe 10-30gallons just to piggy back on the cannister filter I have a heater in the mail on it's way.... It is 3ft wide 18"deep and 2ft high it is currently housing no fish seeing that I am just trying to piece it together I hoped to get some cool fish And would apreciate and advice and or criticism and my first question would be if I could get a pink tailed trigger fish in this tank I rily like them and it would rily bum me out if not but I would still deal with it.. so what is u guys advice pink tailed trigger or no?
