Can I put rubble in Bak Pak 2?

Thats the question. I purchased a Bak Pak2. As many of you probably know it came with no bio-bale because I want a reef tank. Can I fill the empty compartment with LR rubble?

I know LR is great filtration but I was not sure if it is ok in the Bak Pak.

I dont see why not. Just make sure that its not interfering with the skimmer's operation any.

I see no problem if you are using it as HOB with no sump.
