carbon for saltwater tanks? ? ?

I have always ran carbon in my freswater tanks but I have heard there is a specific kind of carbon for saltwater. Is this true? If so what kind do I get?

Thanks

It is just active carbon. I ran the same stuff on my freshwater tanks.

To be honest I've been redoing how my system is setup and have a reactor, but had a leak in the plumbing so it isn't back up yet...if I remember correctly I want to say I had half a cup? It depends on what the directions say in reality. Whoever the manufactures it will have different ideas on it and how "ashy" it is will also change things. If it is really ashy you'd have to rinse it.

I live in the middle of the woods. I have to order anything of real quality. I ordered my dual reactor, active carbon, and GFO from bulkreefsupply.com.
