Idk if you actually started painting the back black yet but you should look into a royal blue color. Recently switched mine and wow does the blue make the fish stand out

Havent started painting cause now I'm thinking about the overflow. Shouldnt I leave that section clear so if anything goes awry inside the overflow I can see it?

Or am I being silly...I really think I'll wanna be able to see back there when I start the plumbing.

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.

silly question, but it just occurred to me...where do I put my heater? I'll be running a wet dry for this setup and don't see a place toput the heater unless it goes in the first input chamber with the tubes and the skimmer. or can I put it in the overflow box?

Which leads to another question....should I put a ball valve on the input side with the drilled holes? Just so I can shut down the input into into the sump if need be?

Thanks for your continued patience with me everyone

Put it with the skimmer, and yes, put a ball valve just in case the power goes out...
