Actually, I was intending on moving the 55g right over to the 125g. I was gonna set things up for a week or so then move half the rock over and rockscape with the base rock I'll be getting. I've moved tanks before and haven't had an issue. I don't expect a cycle. I will of course be checking like a madman LOL

I think I came up with what I'm going to add!!

I want a Atlantic blue Tang, a yellow tang and a school of anthias. I will add a sifting goby and a mandarin by years end.

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.

ahh yes i forgot you were breaking down your 55 for this tank!... My advice is still the same. what you have will work, but there is better stuff out there and saving to get it imo is worth it rather than getting something that you can afford and regretting it later when you're replacing it.

All good. Just emptied it today so i can clean the underneath of the tank and so I can add epoxy into the glass gouge.

I hope to get started with the painting this weekend.

Duly noted. I'm still not sure if I'm gonna go with the skimmer yet. I may see how this all shakes out moneywise and see if I can't squeeze out an extra $100 for a better skimmer.
