Any ideas on how to attach my output nozzle? I'm running 1" tubing from the return pump to ball valve, then a backflow valve then it loops up an over the rim of the tank and attaches to the black output nozzle. It doesn't just hang there does it? LOL I was also thinking about splitting the return flow and having two return nozzles....good idea?

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.

the latest question about a pump is for pumping freshly mixed water to my tank. The nozzle hookup is for the 125g. Is that what u meant?

yeah you can just use a garden hose to pump it in and roll it up once you're done

So I checked out my paint job on the tank and it stinks. :-( Some of the latex peeled off on the front near the glass. grrrrr....I think I will need to touchup again.

The good news is that it looks like most stuff will be here thursday. My foster and smith order is going smartpost so I have no idea how long that will take. You'd think I'd get ups shipping or something since I spent so much. lol

I'm still stuck on how to attach the return nozzle to the tank. Any thoughts? My fluvals both came with clips to attach the hose to the tank....

This is the output I bought.
Aquarium Plumbing: Directional U-Tube

it doesn't come with clips or suction cups. How do I mount it? And should I split my return hose so I have two outputs? Trying to get everything in order LOL . I will be using 2 koralia 750's and 2 1400's for flow, do I need the additional output or am I good on flow?

Thanks guys! Any input appreciated!

scanning back a bit...
adding tangs or any fish for that matter is hit or miss. i have had many instances of aggression, and harmony, either way i added the fish. i've tried all of the suggested rules of thumb, and found all of them to be about 50% effective.
as for that directional U tube, yes, it just hangs there.
the flow sounds pretty good.

I just totally grilled my lfs staff and found out it just hangs as well. I feel kinda silly now....LOL

This is the stock I want to add and I listed them in the order I was gonna do it
Yellow Tang (added with the blue)
Atlantic Blue Tang (added with the yellow)
4-6 Lyretail Anthias (all together)
a sand sifting goby (not sure which one yet)
mandarin (obviously a single addition)

I believe that will be the final stocking list....is my order off? I'd love to have the tangs first but can do the anthias I guess if you think that would be best. if it really is hit or miss should I even bother worrying about it?

Thanks so much!
