I have a lot of green long hair algae I just can't seem to get rid of I've tryed to removing it by hand my water is fine and my clean up crew just won't touch it... I have about 8 red hermits 3 green emerald crabs one turbo snail 1 cleaner shrimp 1 sand sifting star that's all for my cuc fish wise I have 2 small clowns and 3 small damsels that I just can't get my hand on to remove from tank would y'all say my tank is over stocked or do I need more of a cuc

Research the symptoms of algea and try to figure out what is causing it. Is your tank close to a window? That is usually the cause I have found.

are you using tap water? if so that could be the major cause high phosphates can cause alot of problem algae growth, algae thrives on excess nutrients high nitrates, phosphates etc
