My hydrometer is 4 off and I am getting 1.0215 which should be about 1.0255 I calibrated the refractometer with distilled water and am getting 1.0245 I don't think one off will do much just as long as I keep it between 1.024 and 1.025

I will eventually buy some saline solution for calibration then it will be spot on.

Awesome! 1.024 - 1.026 is safe. The fluctuation is what's unhealthy.

Oh I see what your saying. Refractometer is reading 1 point low according to AC and your hydrometer. Just don't let it get above 1.027 or below 1.025

so I had to top off a little. My hydrometer says 1.021 now which should be about 1.025
Refractometer says 1.024 so I'll just keep it there until I buy calibration fluid
