I woke up to a cloudy tank, so I checked everything and my PH was a little low, so I added seachem's ph stabilizer (it raises it to 8.3 and thats where it stays), and the PH is 8.2-8.3 right now...however, it looks like someone dumped a cup of milk in my tank! It has been hours since I used this product (and I used it before with no lingering effects)....plus my capnella is all shrunken up, so is one of my mushrooms (everything else appears normal). Anyone had this happen or any ideas what is wrong?

Usually cloudy water indicates something wrong with your bio-filtration.... check your nitrates etc..... Have you added anything new lately???? How old is the tank?? Have you taken anything out???

Yes I took out my bioballs over a course of two weeks, I still have a thin layer...could this be it? My nitrates are at 10ppm

Try a water change and running some GAC.
May clear it up.
Don't think its the bioballs, could be the buffer.
