By swimming styles im referring to how he swims, for instance my lion commonly hovers upside down in place or will be found out in the open flairing his fans... my tang just doesn't stop moving, my Niger trigger just aimlessly floats around the tank..... as you can tell their swimming habits are interesting to me

can you recommend any interesting swimmers that would fit in a 40gallon tank?

Eclectic, I like. I have clowns now, planning on chromis, cardinals and one fire fish, and then no other fish...

im still waiting to find the right clowns. i really liked my banggai cardinal. if you want to go that route, may i suggest a tank raised cardinal? mine was wild caught, maybe that had something to do with his untimely death.

I am getting tank raised pajama cardinals! And I am LOVING my black ocellaris (false perecula) with the orange faces. They are awesome!

i went to the lfs today and may be going back. he got this weeks shipment in and had two fat mandarins in. another thing that cought my eye was his big banggai cardinals and anemone porcelain crabs. i think i may go back to buy a bottle of pods. at least one bottle to try to start this pod seeding process. probably need to get two bottles. one more for the 75.

one of the guys there suggested getting some cheato and putting behind a rock or something and letting the pods do their thing there.

maybe just keep buying a bottle here and there to get a pod population up and then how do i know that i have enough to support a mandarin? also saw a red one on liveaquaria and really liked it.
