Also may set up a DIY ac 110 fuge since the the impeller is before the pod source. Is that a good idea or over thinking?

I got the pods + last week, it looks like a empty bag of water, do you have to use a microscope or is there another way to see them?

These tigger pods are huge. Easily see them with the naked eye.

Wait was that a statement, question , or comparison?

I think I would like more than one type of pod so I figured get a few different brands.

k so i killed my fluval and replace the impeller on the 750 with an impeller for a 1400. i put my koralia in a corner and aimed it diagonally to the opposite end of the tank. i know im getting great circulation because ive watched some stuff in the tank go from the power head to the opposite side of the tank and then back to the power head. ive also got it so i get a lot of surface agitation. more than i had with the 750 impeller and the fluval. i will keep an eye on my parameters and fish to see if they are bothered buy anything.

question: why am i trying this.
answer: i think my canister filter ate a lot of my tigger pods.

Copepods are pretty small lol. You probably have some in your tank already, you just can't see them. There are also amphipods and Isopods, but Isopods aren't needed and some are even parasites.
