Cold water questions

Does anyone keep cold water marine aquariums? I'm not sure where to put this question but there it is.

I'm a geoscientist by training and thus a bit fascinating with creatures that were once plentiful in shallow tropical seas but have been pushed to fringe ecosystems by modern species. Things like Branchiopods including lingula, bryozoans. I'm also fascinated by cold water corals.

Can these creatures be kept in an aquarium?

They can be kept in an aquarium but they require cold water obviously so you would need a chiller. I have considered doing this myself but prefer doing my tropical reef.
