Cool peppermint shrimp magic trick!!!

I got home after being away and saw to my dismay, my peppermint shrimp motionless on a rock. Something was missing though, his inards. I soon realized that this shrimp molted his exoskeleton and is doing just fine. Just thought I would share this in case anyone else was not aware of this.

i have had many a heart attaches over the same thing..always feel better when you see those antenna moving in the rocks

Its amazing how much a molt looks like the real shrimp.

yeah the first time mine did that i took it out and kept the molt for a week or two in the freezer and showed just about every one i knew. hehehe people thought i was crazy but i thought it was really cool
